CAKE JALAN TIUNG

Helo lovelies! November is coming soon and I can't wait for it already because I will be flying to somewhere in few weeks more! 

This post is not for telling you guys that I'm flying off to somewhere but I wanna write about a cafe where I just went to yesterday! My Saturday was too random, really random. 

I catched up with my girlfriend, Zaimi, where now she has been very busy studying and living too far from me already where I can't appear suddenly right in front of her house anymore sobs. The feeling where you can't find your BFF anytime you want :(

On Thursday, she telling me that she is coming back to Klang this weekends and I was like yes, finally we can meet up this Saturday and she is okay with it!

Basically we didn't plan anything but I remembered she suggest to go a cafe last time where we didn't even get to go lolll 

So I searched on Internet the best cafe in Shah Alam and the top 12 appeared.

Cafe Jalan Tiung was one of it and I actually saw few of my friends went and have really good comments on it, so I decided to give it a try!

Cake Jalan Tiung basically is a bakery & cafe shop where located in Seksyen 9 in Shah Alam. You can simply find this shop by just using waze, you won't lost in half way finding, don't worry! 

Let's the story begin! 

The shop is located on the right hand side. When you reached, you can see this little small blue board with bird picture on it and it's at upstairs. 

Right after you going up, you will saw this corner on your left and the door is just front a bit on the left *might be confusing haha just right in front!* 

You can drop your order right beside this.

When we went in, the crowd is no joke. Almost full house but we still get a table for ourselves. There is still a side where you can see outside but I didn't take photo of it because too many people already!!

Overall everything was good, the cakes are not bad. It's worth to try! Go and visit when you free, the atmosphere really too good and the lightning as well! This shop is halal as the owner is a malay :)

WEDNESDAY: INNISFREE X MANGOSIX

Hello people! IT'S OUR 59TH NATIONAL DAY TODAY, HAPPY MERDEKA! Since it's holiday today, of course I need appreciate it! I called out my friend and we went to Sunway Pyramid.

We get our lunch at Dubuyo *didn't take any photos because we are starving XD* This restaurant is my favourite to get bibimbap & tteokbokki, really recommended! After we got our food, I want to get my refill for my cushion *finished already!* Innisfree cushion is my first cushion! I've been using Innisfree cushion since it's launch and I really love it!

INNISFREE

We went to Innisfree and happily grab my refill. Head to the counter and the girl asked me whether I have the cushion case or not, I answered I have the old one, she replied the refill can't fit into the old cushion case so you need to buy the new case. That moment I was so speechless T.T Conclusion: I need to buy new case but since they launch 100 new designed cases, I'm free to choose and I got to choose 2 because they have promotion!

MANGOSIX

After we done with out shopping, we head to a korean cafe named MANGOSIX, if you are a fans of The Heirs, you probably know this! I heard it's opening in Malaysia but never had a chance to go and finally I got try it today! 

Going there might be easy but I don't know why waze fooled me around today! After a big round and finally reached our destination! 

The cafe is very big as you can see, so don't scare if you can't see it! After we parked our car, I can see a lot of people going in the cafe. YUP, we went in and the queue was long *not that long but still need wait!*

The menu nicely arranged on top and you can see it while queueing!

Multiple kind of drinks! 

Till our turn, we ordered their signature Mango Waffle and a Mango Shake instead of Mango Tango. We seated at upstairs because downstairs is full *business! very good*

I would say that the mango shake is very delicious but the waffle is not like what I expected. The waffle is soft and not really crunchy. But overall is all good!

SONIA AND FOODS: DAL.KOMM & DOTS PHOTO ESSAY BOOK

Yeayy! Let's continue with my second part of my long journey on Saturday! 

I want to blog this both together because want to have some DOTS's drama feels! To be very honest, I just finished the drama on Friday night because I was lazy to chase it and decided to just wait on the TV. 

So, after filled with chicken and coffee, let's have some dessert! Actually, we both are very full but I drag my sister to have dessert with me *since we went so far* We entered into the cafe and the two super cute dolls are on the chairs! *the said so Yoo Si Jin & Seo Dae Young's girlfriends* 

Looking up at the menu for like 3-5 minutes and decided to go with Grapefruit Bingsu *and the signature is Choco Lava Bingsu XD* Paid, seated and wait for our bingsu! 

The bar & the lights are just too nice

This taste really fine to me but the grapefruit is bitter T.T Overall is all okay but inside the bingsu they put some orange skin or grapefuit skin *i'm not sure which one but if you don't like, it's no recommend for you :)*

Yup! For those who didn't read my first post, this dal.komm is located at IOI City Mall *it's actually outside, it's like a single shop, incase you can't find it; refer to the direction board*

Some of you might wonder what photo essay book is; well is a book filled with photos and also some points in words * all is in hangul so I maybe need to be more hardworking in learning hangul sobs *

Actually most of you don't know exist of this place called Korea Tourism Organization Malaysia also known as Korea Plaza which is located at Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur * i planning to blog about this soon, i can't promise when but I will blog about it! before I blog you can also stalk their FB - Korea Tourism Organization Malaysia *

They are very generous in doing contest and also giveaway with a terms that you are a Kaki Korea Member *you need to sign up as their member to join and get stuffs for free! * So last 2 weeks, they organised a contest called "How much of a <Descendants of the Sun> expert are you?". I saw it and I joined it, indeed getting this prize is not easy at all; you need to be a really fans of DOTS drama. I'm really not so they ready a cheat sheet for me *i'm kidding!* But they did put a cheat sheet's link for our reference! 

On last week's Monday, I got an email from their representative! I was surprised and really I can't wait to get it on my hand. But then a bad news, we can only start collect on 17.08.2016 and must go there to redeem it. I planned to redeem it on Saturday as I'm working from Mon-Fri  T_____T

All the way to there, finally got it!

Happy Saturday! Thai Cuisine X Crepe Dessert

Sawadeekap~! I'm back with more food and dessert suggestions! So yesterday my friends and I went to a Thai restaurant to get our lunch. She drove us to myElephant Thai Rrestaurant @ Section 17 *details will be provided at the end of this post, so read till the end! :)*

Okay I need to write this, I never try proper Thai food before *the only one I knew, TOMYAM (my fav as well)* So I thought I can take this chance to have a try! Since I don't know any of their cuisine, my friend ordered it instead.

My friend order a bowl or Tomyam soup, Thai Styled Fried Chicken, Thai Styled Fried Fish Cake and Paku and drinks are Thai Coconut, Frizzy Ice Lemon Teas (if I'm not mistaken) and my Pandan and Lemongrass with Herbs! *they have name in Thai, I don't remember their name so if you are going and don't know their name don't worry just show the photo and they will point for you which is which :)" 

Overall the foods and drinks really suit me. I really like their cuisine! Especially their Tomyam soup doesn't taste like Malaysia's, it's not really spicy and it's really smell good with ginger + lemongrass! Price are reasonable as well! I recommend to it here with family or bunch of friends // make reservation before go :)

Then, my friend was craving for cake and she knew there was a crepe dessert shop behind this Thai Restaurant. But then when we reached there, the shop is closed. Later on, my friend search again on the Internet and found it somewhere near to us. So we go and find around the area, we round for 3 times at the same place and found it! *they didnt put their signboard outside their shop*

Just cozy and comfortable!

They have brunch, salads, pies, rice bowl, snacks and pasta as well! Since we already had our lunch, we just went for dessert. From up left: Vanilla Mille Crepe, Earl Grey & Lavender Mille Crepe, Almond Salted Caramel Mille Crepe, Mango Mille Crepe. The crepe are all scrumptious and worth to try. For me the most recommended one is the Almond Salted Caramel Mille Crepe and Vanilla Mille Crepe! What makes it taste better: The almond and salted caramel on top of the crepe and Vanilla just simple delicious! Price range from RM11-RM14 // pshh: it's halal!

HANBING DESSERT

Annyeong! It's Summer time~! Craving for some ice dessert and also some Korean foods? You will never go to the wrong place if you go to Hanbing! Hanbing is a Korean dessert cafe, opening second branch here in Malaysia. First branch opened in Bangsar and second branch officially opened in SS15 Courtyard.

Imagine having a bowl of ice in a hot sunny day. Feeling fresh and wanna have a second bowl! So my sister and I planned to try it out since it's summer *lol not in Malaysia because Malaysia is 24/7 summer*  And we went to the newly opened Hanbing in SS15 Courtyard.

We ordered a set including fried chicken, tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), bingsu (ice dessert) and a cup of Korean tea. Actually this set is for 1 person but my sis and I shared it! Here is a point, the bingsu is a small one instead of a big one. If you wanna eat bigger portion of bingsu, order ala-carte bingsu! :)
